We are thrilled to announce that Riley was named 1st Team All Dominion District in 2013. Additionally, Riley picked up Honorable Mention All Region honors, Central Region All-Academic honors, and was a Cosby High School Scholar Athlete Award recipient.
Riley has some of the best baseball instincts we have seen come through the program. A true student of the game, Wilson backs up his knowledge with great baseball motions and athleticism.
PITCHING: Wilson has a clean left-handed delivery, releasing from a ¾ slot. Wilson has a solid fastball with life and sink. He compliments his fast ball with a sinking change-up and plus control.
DEFENSE: Wilson has good actions and footwork around first base and shows a strong accurate arm from the outfield. With good anticipation, Wilson tracks the ball well off the bat.
OFFENSE: With an aggressive approach at the plate, Wilson may surprise some people with his pop. He does an excellent job of staying balanced while using his core to maximize strength through the hitting zone. Wilson is a smart base runner and excellent bunter.
