Player Evaluation
UPDATE:
DEFENSE: Dean is an excellent defensive catcher. Dean is very quiet when receiving the ball and has a strong wrist. Dean blocks everything in the dirt and keeps the ball in front of him. He also is a student of the game and does very good at calling pitches. Dean is continuing to work on his arm strength to get his pop time down consistently to a 2.0 and under.
OFFENSE: Dean is a big RHH at the plate with a good line drive swing and also drives ball into the gaps. Dean does a good job of getting backspin on the ball.
