Player Evaluation
UPDATE:
We are proud to announce that Jamison was named 1st Team All Central District as a DH in 2013. He also picked up 2nd Team All-Region honors, Academic All-Region honors, won a Matoaca High School Junior Class Achievement Award, and was named to the Distinguished Honor Role.
Offense: Jamison is a strong athletic player with tremendous power. He has a short compact swing generating barrel head speed. His swing has a natural lift which creates loft and carry, That coupled with his physical strength makes Jamison a true middle of the order power hitter. With solid pitch recognition he is able to stay on the off speed pitch, and hits for average.
Defense: A corner infielder who primarily plays first base,Jamison moves around the bag very well with good baseball actions and balance. For a power player Jamison has above average speed and is an excellent baseball runner.
