Player Evaluation
Taylor is a physical player with raw talent. He has shown the ability to be a dominant pitcher. He has developed considerably over the past 18 months and continues to show improvement.
PITCHING: Gerald has a very heavy fastball with sink. He repeats his delivery consistently and with good velocity and late movement on his pitches, he has a tremendous upside on the mound.
DEFENSE: Taylor has been used in both of the corner infield and corner outfield positions.
OFFENSE: We have seen Gerald continue to improve since joining us in 2010. He has a solid base in the box and his balance allows him to see the strike zone well.
