Player Evaluation
UPDATE:
PITCHING: Carter has very clean mechanics, incredible arm speed and throws the ball down hill extremely well for his size. Carter has worked hard this offseason on commanding and pounding the zone better with all of his pitches. He locates his fastball on both sides of the plate well and flirts with command at times with his fastball. His change-up is very deceptive due to his arm speed and also has some sink towards home plate. Carter’s curveball has extremely hard late break and tight spin, a very affective pitch to both right and left-handed hitters, has the ability to back door his curveball to right-handed hitters as well. Carter can throw all 3 of his pitches for strikes when he needs to.
