Player Evaluation
UPDATE: Skylar Petry receives 2nd team all conference 3 honors in as a sophomore in 2016 and First Team all conference and 2nd team all metro Conference 3 in 2017
DEFENSE: Skylar plays a good third base. Skylar is currently working on improving range and footwork.
OFFENSE: Skylar is a solid left handed hitter. He shows the ability to work the middle of the field and shows fast hands.
PITCHING: Skylar is a very good pitcher that can throw all 4 of his pitches for strikes. He has an explosive fastball on both sides of the plate. His change up works well off of his 2-seam fastball. Skylar has great breaking stuff. His curveball and slider are very good out pitches. Skylar has worked hard this offseason on how to use his entire body in his pitching delivery. His velo has increased and his off speed pitches have become more consistent with later movement.
